#ActiveBadger Day

Warm up with a day of movement. We’re taking over campus with an all-day get up, get outside, and get moving extravaganza. Inspired by National Recreational Sports and Fitness Day, we are teaming up with our partners on campus to offer a full day of (mostly) FREE opportunities to PLAY HARD. GET FIT. LIVE WELL. How will you celebrate?

Don’t miss a minute of the action: follow us at @uwrecsports or search #ActiveBadgerDay on Instagram and Twitter.

#ActiveBadgers are social Badgers

We want to know how you’re celebrating today. Wherever you are on campus, whatever you’re doing to be active, follow the steps below and you’ll be entered to win Rec Sports swag!

  1. Take a picture of you, you and your friends, you and your pet (could #ActiveBadgerPets be a thing?) being active. Whether you’re running solo along Lakeshore Path or attending one of the activities listed above, we want to see what being an #ActiveBadger means to YOU.
  2. Post the photo on Instagram or Twitter using #ActiveBadgerDay and tag @uwrecsports.
