We will be ending locker rentals one week before the membership term ends. While supplies last we will provide free Day Locks (with an ID) for one week after the locker rental period.
The tall lockers between the banks of cubicles are available for your use during your period of activity and can be secured with a personal lock or a rental lock from the towel exchange window. The locker must be vacated at the completion of the activity period. Locks left on overnight will be removed and the contents of the locker will be stored in the towel room. If not claimed within 60 days, the contents will be disposed of. A repetition of the above situation will result in a service charge being assessed.
A towel can be rented with a valid ID for $1.00. The towel must be returned within the same activity period. By renting the towel the user accepts responsibility for the towel and if the towel is damaged, permanently soiled, lost or stolen, the user will be required to pay $10.00 for the cost of a replacement towel. If the towel is not returned by the close of the day, a late fee of $1.00 will be levied to the user.
Recreational equipment is available for check-out to students, faculty, and staff who possess a valid UW-Madison ID card or to Spouse/Domestic Partner pass holders with a photo ID. The person checking out the equipment accepts responsibility for any fees assessed for damaged or lost equipment and any late fees incurred. Check-out the equipment from the Towel Exchange window.
There is a one day limit on equipment checkout. Equipment not returned on a timely basis will result in a late fee of $1.00 per day, with a maximum fee of $50.00. If equipment is returned damaged beyond normal wear and tear, there will be a total replacement charge.
