SERF

This very popular facility is in the heart of campus. The SERF houses the east campus Recreational Sports Office in room 287. Although informal recreation has many hours available each day, the facility is shared with Kinesiology, Physical Education, and Intercollegiate Athletics. The SERF was built in 1983 to serve the 3,900 students living in campus high-rise dormitories across the street. In June 2003, the 3 story addition was completed and opened for use. The new addition includes 2 gymnasiums, an expanded Cardio Center, and a new Fitness Studio. Also included in the expansion was air conditioning to the existing administrative area, racquetball courts, weight room, and Fitness Training room. Accessibility information.
