UHS Sports Medicine Clinic
UHS provides injury evaluation and self-care advice for students participating in recreational, intramural and club sports or workouts who incur minor injuries.
Students can drop in for a sports-related injury evaluation and, if needed, obtain a referral to see a UHS Sports Medicine physician. The service is primarily intended to help students deal with or answer questions about minor injuries such as sprains, muscle strains, tennis elbow, etc. No appointment is necessary at either the Nat (room 1138, Monday - Thursday 4:30 - 7:30 p.m.) or the Sellery Hall satellite clinic during drop-in hours.
Athletic trainers are also available to evaluate student injuries at UHS on Wednesday afternoons, but appointments must be scheduled in advance. Sports medicine physicians will be on site at UHS, 1552 University Ave., and available to students by referral from a UHS clinician or athletic trainer.
This program is available to UW-Madison students. For more information, call UHS at (608) 265-5600.
