The only Rec Sports facility that allow access to the general public is the Camp Randall Sports Center (The Shell). General Public must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a membership.

Current Community/General Public Members who have paid the community membership fee may sponsor up to 3 guests per day for $5.00 each per day.

Members of the general public (who have not paid the community membership fee) may be guests of current UW-Madison students, Faculty/Staff, and UW-Madison Student Guest-Auditors who have paid their Recreation Membership Fee. The UW affiliate is the sponsor of the guest and must remain with them while utilizing the facility. At Nielsen Tennis Stadium separate court fees apply for guests.
