RETIRED FACULTY

Retired UW-Madison employees with an active Wiscard will be eligible to purchase memberships to Recreational Sports facilities. 

EMERITI RETIREES

Wiscards of emeriti faculty remain active. Emeriti faculty is therefore eligible to purchase a membership. Please see the Faculty Staff Membership Services Page for details.

NON-EMERITI RETIREES

Wiscards of non-emeriti faculty and staff do not remain active in retirement.  Those wishing to reactivate their Wiscard should contact their previous employing department with the following information:

  • Name
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Gender
  • Permanent home address
  • Date retired
  • Eligibility status for Wisconsin Retirement Annuity while working
