You get 10 - 30 points for a win. This point total changes as the season goes by because as the team you beat in week 1 wins more games, your bonus increases. Like-wise, if the team you beat loses more games, you will either stay at 10 points or go down.
Example...Week 1 Newe English beats the Dirty Birds. Newe English gets 10 points for a win. Dirty Birds record is 0-1. In Week 2 the Dirty Birds win, so New English's win bonus is 20 because the Dirty Birds are 1-1. Week 3 the Dirty Birds win again, with a 2-1 New English's win bonus is up to 22-24 points. Week 4 Dirty Birds lose and are back at 2-2 so New English's win bonus is back to 20.
You get 0-20 points based on the number of points you scored.
You get 0-20 points based on the number of points you allowed (set games it's based on point differential)
Your final rating is the average per game, which is used to rank the teams.
It is possible for a 4-1 team to be ranked below a 3-2 team. The strength of wins & point differential can overcome the fact that teams have one less win. It is much like the BCS used for college football. Remember that Playoffs are NOT strictly scheduled by rank. Teams will be switched to avoid first week conflicts. It is more important that teams can play then to have proper seeding.
