Submit a completed application prior to the clinic date.
Applicants will be paid for attendance at clinics if hired.
Officials must attend one info session and all clinic dates.*
In order to be payrolled, bring your Driver's License or Student ID card AND either a Social Security Card or Birth Certificate to the clinic. A passport will cover all forms of ID. Faxes or photocopies of the required documents will not be accepted.
New employees must bring a voided check for the required direct deposit process. A deposit slip will not be accepted.
These documents are required to complete your employment paperwork.
Fill out the application (make sure to proofread it to confirm all of the information), and either click on the "Submit" button or save the file locally. (The local file will be sent as an attachment to imsports@recsports.wisc.edu.)
Send an e-mail message to imsports@recsports.wisc.edu from your WiscMail account with the subject line "Officials Application" and attach your completed application.
We recommend e-mailing the application to us, but you may also print the form and return to the Nat, room 1180.
Make sure to attend the Clinic Dates for the sports that you are interested in officiating. If you fail to attend the clinics, you will not be hired. They are an important part of becoming an Intramural Official. Remember, if you are hired you will be paid for your time at the clinic. The starting pay is $8.40/hour for officials and $7.30/hour for scorekeepers. The number of hours you are scheduled for depends upon your availability and the number of applicants.
