men's ultimate frisbee clubThe University of Wisconsin-Madison Club Sports Program is comprised of various student organizations focused on a particular sport. Many clubs are organized for the primary purpose of competition - either intercollegiate or inter-club, while other clubs are recreational or instructional in nature. The Club Sports Program is designed to enhance the student experience while participating in a sport of choice. All clubs practice regularly in order to promote and develop the skills and interests of their members.

Each club has their own elected student officers who are responsible for the day-to-day and organizational leadership of the club activities. Most of the clubs are instructed or coached by a faculty/staff member, community volunteer or a knowledgeable student. A representative from each club constitutes the Club Sports Council which serves to promote and coordinate club sports on campus. The Executive Board, a four-person elected student board, assists the Club Sports Director to meet those objectives.

Clubs also receive reserved facility space as well as departmental sponsorship from DRS. The Club Sports Director provides administrative support and guidance in the operation of each club in addition to promoting the program.

Membership is open to currently enrolled University of Wisconsin-Madison undergraduate and graduate students. Faculty and staff with paid Recreational Sports Membership fees may also be club members, but not officers.

For more information about a club sport in the program, please refer to their web site or contact person. If you would like to form a club that is currently not offered, please click on the Form a New Club link.
